![]() ![]() When logged into the management interface on Switch3 from my desktop, I cannot ping the backup server, but I can ping any other device on the network. I can ping Switch3 from any other computer on the network. It can ping all the other switches and it can ping all other computers on the network even those attached to switch4 which is beyond switch3. Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Reply from 10.128.78.69: Destination host unreachable. The Destination Host Unreachable is occurring between the backup "server" connected to Switch1 and the management IP address of Switch3. Switch4 services our production office on the other side of the shop/warehouse. There are a few wired connections and a WAP bridge on here. Switch3 services the main entrance to our shop/warehouse. Switch2 is in a closet connected to the patch panel that services our main front office and most of the computers on the network. This has a fiber channel link to Switch2. This houses our 3 servers, the backup computer mentioned above, and 2 Synology NAS boxes. All computers/devices are on the same subnet. It is between a Windows 7 Pro workstation that has been repurposed to be our backup server (running Acronis) and one of the 4 managed switches on our network. I am getting a Destination Host Unreachable error that is driving me nuts trying to resolve. ![]()
